What can a consultant do for you?
A consultant provides or improves: information, efficiency, productivity, objectivity and innovation.
Do you already use consultants? Ever used a lawyer, doctor, tax or accountant service or other person whose opinions, advice or services, you paid for? Then you have consulted with a professional.
Consultants bring skills, education, experience and objectivity to solve problems as effectively as possible. The faster, and ever changing, world we share, births new consulting jobs every day.
I was taught to triage quickly in life and death situations. Later I ambulanced and honed my skills to quickly assess and act. Yes, business is business, but it is still the life-blood of someone's life. So, your first need is a written analysis of your particular consulting needs and circumstances, options and fees. I listen to your needs. Then we discuss to clarify, affirm. Then I create a report, stating the consult project outline, needs and how I can meet them, or out-source them and meet or beat your budget plans. With the initial report, you get my quote for services.
Ramon has a long background in analysis with a strong emphasis in accounting and office procedures. He spent five years on board as a consultant, for a top 5 company of the world. Many sucessful years in accounting and tax software, and now teaching in a classroom environments, Rochin carries his belief that the internet is the future of most businesses. He keeps busy with lots of new web clients consulting with him on a daily basis and showing the ease of building a site that you can afford and maintain.
Each phase of plans are confirmed as completed. Written records are kept for clients, later becoming the client notebook, with everything needed to track services created for consulting projects.
How to spot a good consultant.
HOW does your consultant analyze? Did they listen to you carefully before speaking? Did they seem to grasp your needs quickly? Did they write down components of problems or tasks with quick comprehension and resolutions skills? Did they answer questions quickly or did they know where to quickly get answers? Do they offer you other resources for your own betterment and education? Were they patient with you and persistent with resolutions? Do they speak clearly so you understand the subject at hand? Not every consultant relates well to every client! You will match styles when you get the right one. Did you understand both their questions and their answers?
Did they offer you a written report that demonstrated good analyzing, organization and writing skills? Yes? Then you had the best!
